Hello everyone,

 

i am new here, this is my first post and i hope i'm right here.

 

i am searching for a tool, witch can make my terrain higher or lower (not in the god modus and i don't mean the hole digger). i need it to form and build coasts, boardwalks or seaports.

 

i hope, anybody can help me. thanx in advance.

Well, there is one for laying down coastal stuff at Pegasus in the CDK set, but I don't think that's what you really want.  I use the mayor mode tools to sculpt the land, including coast lines.  Some refinements you may not know about:

 

Control alone reduces the tool to half.

Shift alone doubles the tool radius.

Shift+<number key> changes the radius

Shift+<function key> changes the strength of the brush.

 

For example:  If you were using the raise height tool and pressed Shift+3+F1 you would get a very small radius and an extremely weak brush.

 

Pressing shift and releasing it again resets the tool.

 

This shore line was created using this technique.
