Looking for a challenge/Live region

Hey all, been playing for a while now.... Finally starting to get the hang of things, but I'm getting pretty bored playing by myself. Has anyone got a spare city in their region? I've mostly been playing industrial/mining/education regions, so I'm wanting to try my hand at culture/gambling cities or something more challenging. 

 

Also wondering if anyone knows of any live regions coming up? Have seen a couple on youtube, would be rad to play in one.

I am new to this type of gaming, but not new to Simcity as such, i am interested to join, i am located in Australia, let me know how this will work?
