Population panel bug?!

It only started today but when I click to view my population stats the mouse icon disappears and I can't exit the game! Has this happened to anyone else?

Has happened to me only one time had to restart my computer because of that.

it has happened to me more than 5 times since 4.0. You can sort of move your mouse and the icons change color, when your mouse is over them, although you cant see the arrow. but I normally just ALT+F4 and rejoin the game. i just hope the new patch will fix this. sigh....

Happend to me to once.

 

Just like tnemelkfoo i could see where the mouse was by watching icons chance color when moving the mouse around so managed to exit and start the game again and then i could see the mouse icon again.

I hope 5.1 will come out soon. this is happening to me almost every time i play. I give up because it would take me so long just o quit the game, so I use ALT-F4. And yesterday my nvidia graphics card didnt like it.

 

refused to be detected ever since. I am so pissed now. I tried to enjoy this game as much as i can, but this is really just too much. such bugs are so ridiculous, it makes everyone at Maxis look like a fool, and I wish they are reading this!

Try clicking around moving the mouse and pressing both mouse buttons at the same time. Solved it for me when it happened once.

This bug is not fixed, it happens to my EVERY time I click on the bottom panel, I then have to roll my mouse around the corner to hit options and then I have to hunt to hit the quit simcity to log out of the game. I know its not the computer because it happens on both the computers I play on.  Anyone found an easy way to get out of the game when this happens?

I have this same problem every once in awhile, I fix it by pressing escape to close out the population panel and then move my mouse around and it shows back up for me all the while never quitting the game, Hope this helps you as well.
