Problem with vista

Hello,

i'm new in this community;

I'have this problem:

When I download any mod, and the I unzip that in plugins, then the file doesen't work and a message tell me to find in internet the software I've used to create it.

Is it a problem of compatiblity with windows 7?  How can I run the mods properly in my pc?

1.  Downloads should go to a separate downloads folder like <me>\Documents\Downloads

2.  Right click on the file after it is loaded and request the system to expand it.

3.  Move only the proper files to your Plugin structure: *.dll, *.dat, *.sc4lot, *.sc4desc, *.sc4model.  The rest is documentation

 

And always read the download page, and any readme files or other documentation before you move anything into your plugins.  Some custom content has optional parts that don't dance together.
