Data volume consumption

Hi everyone,

 

I live in South Africa, where ISPs cap our data usage. Bandwidth speeds are not to bad, but most ADSL packages are limited to data usage between 1GB and 40GB(for just under $100 per month). 

 

I haven't bought the game as of yet, and before I do I would just like to know if anyone knows how much data the game download/uploads per hour. I have seen many posts about how much bandwidth speed it takes up, but none of the actual volume it downloads.

 

If anyone can help me out, this would help me decide whether getting this game is financially feasible.

Some have reported a bit of data usage (something like 100MB per hour), so you may need to be careful.

So it just boils down to whether the saving process / syncing with other cities if the entire file is being uploaded or if its uploaded incrementally?

 

Also, I have a Mac and am waiting for its release. I don't suppose that would be any different.
