Having difficulty with multiplayer

Hi,

 

Since EA are so eager for us to have a mutliplayer experience, I decided to bite the bullet and join a public region. Annoyingly, every region that the game offered me was already full - not a single vacant city to be claimed. I then started my own public region, but 48 hours later no-one has joined. Am I missing something here, or is this another EA fail?

No available cities in public regions. Nobody joins the public regions I create.

same, they really need to take the one that are full out of it so you can only see the ones that have space. or give the option to do so. If ur up for it ill join any region to play
