hello.

i have a noobie question..and one more..

1. when I play online with others and im offline for 24 hours (job/sleep etc) what happens to my city?

what happens to other players that are online,if we connect somehow (education, tourism, water etc)

2.every time i try to find an empty spot for me to join a region with others,no free spot empty to claim.

am I doing something wrong?

Hey Silky,

I believe when you go offline your city simply pauses until you sign in again, any connections with the other towns like sharing utilities or so on would still take place from what I've seen.

As for the second question, they had to temporarily disable the region filters until they could optimize it so as to not bog down the servers, at least that was my understanding.  Last I read was they are going to start bringing that back in within a week or so.

Multiplayer still kinda works if you invite friends from your origin list.  They had it enabled before but as I'm sure you've read by now, it was near unplayable with how unstable the servers were.

Yeah,i read about that server problems.

So,in order to play with others, I have to "find" some friends ,create a game, and then invite them?

Unfortunately, yeah. That or have someone invite you to their region.
