Reasons to keep playing?

First there was on how to make crap tons of money with electronics manufacturing tv crates, then the video on how to draw out your roads to have almost no traffic, and then all you have to do is place residential to fill up your tiny map, and last the guy who hacked the game to be able to add highways to the region etc. it seems that's pretty much the content of the game, there's no ability to be creative or innovative. What a disappointment this game turned out to be after I was so excited waiting for the release.

I feel the same way. Once you are able to export TVs, you can make a million per day with one electronics factory.

 

But what really turns me off to the game is just how poorly the simulation behaves.  Sims are basically lemmings, that just follow the sim in front of them.  They all take the closest job in the morning, and go to the closest house at night.  No sim actually lives in a particular house.  Given how much Maxis hyped the aspect of every Sim being simulated, the fact that they follow such terrible AI is disappointing.

 

I am going back to Starcraft, will try simcity again in a few months and see if any improvements have been made.
