i take a look in other topics and i didn't found this problem. i hope i'm not repeating.

since i installed the new NAM always i save a city or i leave the city to go region, my game crashes.

can someone helps me?

U need to update your game with some patches made my maxis. I believe u can find them on the stex or at least here: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?page=7

Updating up till version 1.1.638.0 will fix it, but if u want to have nightlighting also, then u must install the BAT-nightlighting patch, which updates the game to version 1.1.640.0

I've been having the same problem recently. I've torn apart my plugins folders 3 times and completely rebuilt it from scratch. I'm pretty sure I don't have a conflict.

Here's my report, I'm at a total loss, maybe I can get a couple pointers to give me a direction to head? I would sure appreciate any help, thanks : )

That's a nice, normal, fully up to day dump of Deluxe running on Windows 7.  No new or useful information there.

 

What is in the command line of your shortcut?  (Target).

 

If your machine is multi-core there are some things you need, and if you have a screen different from the game's choices, there is a fix for that too.

 

Have you checked your multimedia system lately?  You can check by running dxdiag from your run box.

Thanks dude, I was thinking I had things running smooth but you now how its easier to fix something if its your fault, hehe

I'm running an i7 processor, 8 GB RAM, custom resolution 1920x1080 if I remember correctly..., I turn the intro off, but if I use a single core, the game doesn't run nearly as smooth, I haven't tried the cpupriority low I seen you suggest in another thread though yet... I'll run the diagnostic after work today, thanks a bunch dude! : )

Here is my command line for execution in hardware mode.  I think you might want the marked options for your display if you don't have them.  Since you are running a single thread, there is no point in playing with the execution priority.  Won't do anything.

We need more information to sort this one out.  Can you post a screen shot of the strange looking stuff?

 

Also, can you post the contents of the shortcut you are using to start the game?  There may be some options that can be added to help the crashing problem.

It's a problem with the Warm ColorConcreteTexture;dat that is in your z_NAM\El Rail Alternate Implementation folder

Either delete it and replace it with Cool Color Concrete Texture or rerun the NAM installer by choosing the cool texture

The thing you click to start the game is a short-cut.  To see what's in it, right click on it, and select properties.  In the properties panel you will see an item (called target, these days I think) which is the actual command line that starts your program.  It has the complete path name of the program enclosed in quote marks ( " ).  If you have nothing after the final quote, you should add this exactly:

 

 -CPUcount:1

 

Please make sure that you have one space character before the hyphen ( - ) to separate the option from the file string.  To complete the change click the Apply button.

 

This is very likely the solution to your crashing problem.  On the other hand, considering the age of this game, it is fairly intolerant to newer machines and you should take internal saves about every quarter hour.  The keyboard sequence for this is CTRL+s.
