Tutorial Broken?

When I go into the initial Tutorial for the game, It loads fine and everything.  It leaves me in the town but doesn't prompt any instructions or tutorialish things.  I can move the camera to look at the town but... that's it.

 

Any ideas?  And yes, everything is up to date and I can run the game fine with my PC.

I have the same issue. I even restarted my computer and completely logged out/exited Origin.

same issue. problem after problem.  i can't get back to my own game from the main menu either.

Also doing the same thing to me.  I was in the beta and everything worked fine.  Possibly a server issue, when I changed servers it didn't prompt me to do the "getting started" however I could not create a city either.  I'm in the process of reinstalling, will report if that fixes it.

It is because the servers are down or clogged up... I was having the same issue.

When I start the game it dumps me into the tutorial and I am having the same problem! Did an exit tried a different server, same problem. It is really something when a tutorial won't work.

EA recognizes this issue.

 

You probably can't connect to another server for the tutorial because all of them are down.  It seems they're updating them at the moment.

I think I will just kick back and relax for a couple of days then try again.  Perhaps there will be enough servers available to handle the volume?  LOL!
