SimCity is very glitchy...

I just bought SimCity a few hours ago and when I play it, it looks like this:

I have enough space on my computer to run it and I just updated my graphics driver, I'm sad I can't play, its all glitchy looking and it runs very slowly. I have a windows vista 32 bit. I can play Sims 3 just fine, I didn't know I would have any trouble playing

Is there anything I can do?

Thats a motherboard chip isn't it from 2004?? That just isn't good enough for this game by any stretch of imagination. You need to upgrade to modern day man.

Lol! I bought my computer new in 2008, I know nothing about motherboard chips so I figured maybe someone on here might know! I Also have a laptop that I bought new last year and I ran the same test on the same website and I got the same result, it said the video card is required to have 256MB but I have 64MB. Weird?

Thats not weird... your hardware just isn't good enough.

 

You can buy a 4xx series Geforce pretty cheap these days. Then just slot it into your PC and away you go.

 

Its unfortunate that from 2008 the GPU world exploded with a huge push of GPU power, it just went really fast. Literally cards were outdated months after buying but its a lot calmer now.
