Simcity 5 for Mac

i was on the official site and noticed the specs wondering if my mac would be 100% compatible due to the graphics card being older.

No one knows but likely it would be incompatible. Also, youre missing the ram. But also noted, They posted bare minimum 2011 Macbook Air specs for this game.

In all honesty your current system probably could run the new SC, albeit a little slowly.

Newer macs are obviously going to be a lot more powerful, so you could upgrade if you really wanted to. Then again if you could find some older ram on eBay or something, you could just upgrade to 4GB and there you go, you’d exceed the minimum specs.

Another option could be to get a desktop PC, only $400 would probably get you to the minimum required specs, and then just get the Windows version. Or if you're really keen, hackintosh it and play the OSX version on your new PC.

I've got similar specs too, except with 6GB of RAM and was wondering if SimCity will run on my 20" iMac.
