City life question.

    Hello, I purchased City life yesterday from a local supermarket as it was on offer. I opened up the case to find it says City life 2008 with a CD Key below which is an expansion pack I believe so I'm not sure what I've purchased the game box is CITY LIFE but as I said the CD Key says City life 2008 I cannot play this until I get home on Saturday tho so any help verifying which I've actually got?

    City Life 2008 is the latest version of City Life. It includes some new things that were later added to Cities XL. --Ocram

    Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

    Words to live by:

    So City Life 2008 is the game itself with added content and isnt just a Expansion of which I need the original game?

    Ah thanks for the info mate wish they made it more clear by putting Deluxe or something on the cover haha.
