    Hello,

    can somebody help me please!

I've made a map of my city, it´s 1025 pixel long and wide and i have it as bmp and jpg, but when I press clt+alt+shift+r and select the map nothing happens. So i downloaded a random map from this site to try it ant still does not do anything.

    Why is that?

I have a config.bmp of 16x16 pixels all blue, big cities.

    Thank you

The ratios have to be right. When you open the city, do you get the layout prescribed by the .bmp? If not, it needs to be checked.

The name must be config.bmp, and the principle colour representing the tile size must be at full saturation. So for:

    red: (256,x,x)

    Green: (x,256,x)

    blue: (x,x,256)

    where x < 256 and preferably < 192.

The sides of the .jpg must correspond to the sides of the config.bmp file in the ration of <.bmp side>*64+1.

The .jpg must be a black and white and not a colour format. If it has an RBG header, it will be ignored.

Other than that, goes like gangbusters. Try this one:

It is one of mine, and I guarantee it. If you don't get this one to render, you are not holding your mouth right.

Image looks OK, but you have a lot of heights. You may have too great a range. What did you use for sea level? It should be around 80. All that white will become mountains so high, it may not be able to handle them. Try toning them down a little (keep a backup).
