My first CJ- The Twelve Colonies of Kobol

This will be my first CJ of the region I have been working on for the last few weeks. I just got the game only three weeks ago.

 

 

The names are inspired by the sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. The names of the colonies are loosely based from the Zodiac. I won't say much more about the show, except that if you're a sci-fi fan go watch it!

 

The map I found on the STEX, and it is the Grayson County Map. Thanks to the person who made it, it is a great map.

 

I admit I used the Money Park plop.

Well, since you are welcoming suggestions, I would recommend showing us larger pics and placing those pics directly into the thread.  From my experience, most users don't want to click off site to see a pic unless it something like a huge mosaic.  It looks like you have an interesting region to start on and you have an interesting name which caught my eye since I love the new Galactica.  Good Luck.

I loved the Battlestar Galactica Series and Miniseries it was great, I look froward to seeing this CJ as it should be good. Although I would recomend a terrain mod and water mod as Caprica doesn't look likr the typical simcity terrain. Once you get the pics sorted I look forward to more. Good Luck.

Looks good so far but a few suggestions to make your city more aesthetically pleasing: Do a little bit more terraforming than just flat land, and make it less of a grid. Also, get some unique shots so we know your city isn't just another of the thousands
