Does anybody have or know of an elevation key map (preferably in feet)? I've looked everywhere.

Hi aspireman,

Probably too much vodka in the blood this morning for me, but I don't understand exactly what you are looking for !

Do you mean a map with various points at specific elevations ? Like 500 ft, 1.000, 2.000... ? It could be possible to do that kind of test...

G'Day Aspireman,

Here is a single tile map shaded from black (0m) to white (750m)

Elevation1.jpg

Elevation2.jpg

you can run around in-game with the terrain query tool or pop it into terraformer to check the elevations.

Basically each shade of grey is equivalent to 3m or 10 feet in height.

Cheers

    G'Day Aspireman,Thanks, that's what I needed to know, what each shade of gray is equal too. I have one for 3000, but it's different then 4.

    I'd like to use Terraformer, but the computer doesn't like it at all.

    Ok, I must have a elevation Mod I'm not aware of. Using the Landscape Designer I'm getting:

    82=-10'

    90=69'

    95=118'

    100=167'

    105=217'

    110=266'

    120=364'

    130=463'

    140=561'

    150=659'

    160=758'

    I have the California Terrain Mod right now. I did the Terrain Query and sea level's at 200 and something I take it meters. I wish Sim City made this easy.

    Are you running a Mac or Linux? Otherwise terraformer and Mapper will run on all versions of windows.
