Combining maps

So i have been lurking around the stex for a while looking for a really nice map. I have seen a few here and there, but none that particularly fit all of my taste. i have however seen a whole lot that i would take elements from and put them into different maps and make them blend.

that got me to thinking about this question:

is there anyway i can combine whole( or even partial pieces from) sc4terraformer maps?

if so would you be kind enough to tell me how?

I created my Region

from single maps with "Landscape Designer" tool ...
