i was just starting a new city to rival my big city with 200k+ because i've hit an insane demand cap (everything's at the least demand possible lol) and i was just about to build a fire station when a fire broke out. i never knew that it could spread so quick. i tried to make enough fire stations (like 10) but they eventually burned down. at the end, i had a pile of ashes as a city. maybe i should'nt have built everything so close together.... heh lol

Luck is not involved. Stop running on Cheetah mode, and water your lots if they are more than single occupancy. Cheetah is only useful for short term quick development. There is a lot more to this program if you slow down and enjoy the animation. I haven't had a serious fire in a city in several years.

thats strange actually, normally my citys are safe enough to avoid fire but if ever there is a spot i forgot ploping a fire station pritty quicly takes it down and the fire can spread good if 1-2 buildigs but even than normally it dosnt spread at all. And you made like 10 fire stations?
