dk blue govt squares

So this is the thing. I'm running SC4 on my ibook snow. Everything is all great except for one annoying thing. WHen I click over to zones, the dk blue gov't squares show then disappear. Schools and such just look like unzoned land. Of course, Aspyr says my system is inadequate. Yeah. Everything else is perfect as far as I can tell. I've tried changing settings (pre-game and in-game) and adding my specific graphics card to the card text file. ANy thoughts?

I don't know exactly which iBook you have, but I had one that I bought in 2001. That one came with 8mb of video memory. The minimum VRAM required for the game is 32mb.

You might try turning down some of the settings in the game to get it to run faster.
