My university was founded in 1947 by an act of Parliament.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Easily drove over a few patches of ice/snow today. The streets are already plowed, so there's not much left for me to play it. (And when I say play, I meant drive through said snow)

I might have accidentally started an inter-website (Simtropolis forums and FI's Cities XL 2011 forums) flame war last week. I have been trying to fix the damage I could not foresee.

See the below quotes and give me your opionion on what should have been said.

I meant to say that it was merely a conclusion based on my interpretation of my evidendce, therefore I should have said "I think that Aelencia's map is disqualified from being on your union's map."

I have made changes based on my experience with Cities XL 2011. Either fuel was discovered east of the Cascadia mountains or MezaCorp bought up land in the middle east. On my planetary map in my game. Marcopolis (CXL 2011 version) is located next to Riverton. Marcopolis is my Dirty City and Riverton is my high tech Agricultural and Water producing city.

By the way, Aelencia is double dealing so I think MezaCorp should open up branches on CitiesXS and CitiesXL official.

It should be obvious that I was considering spreading my allegiance as a GOOD idea and using Aelencia/Angelic as a reason.

I have made over a dozen posts since then for clarifying and apologizing. I received half a dozen PM's from both sites combined over the past week and I responded to all of them.

Same with my state. Except that you have to have someone over 21 in the car with you, and you can't drive after a certain hour.

The earliest you can get a license in Connecticut is 16 years, 3 months (you need to be 16 to get a permit, and need to have had your permit for 3 months before you can take the license test). I dragged my heels about drivers ed and failed the test the first time I took it, so I was 18 years, 6 months by the time I got mine.

Which actually was for the better since, because I got my license as an adult, I never was subject to any of our ridiculous teen driving restrictions.

It's 15 here (Illinois) for your permit, you can then get your liscense after having your permit for 9 months and being 16 or older. Then you can only drive 1 non-family member who's under the age of 21 (I think, not sure about that last part) with you for a year or until you're 18, whichever comes first. You're also not allowed to talk on your cell phone and drive until you're 18, and it's illegal for everyone in Chicago.

New York (State) won't let you get a license until 17 years, 6 months. For anyone under 18, the restrictions actually differ depending on the part of the state.

They also have a law that says no one under 16 is allowed to drive in New York, even if they have a valid license from another state.

Also in California, I think you can't drive on the highway until you are 18(At least I think so-not sure)

The legal minimum age in Queensland is 16 for a learner licence. To progress to a provisional licence you need to do 100 hours of driving in at least (I think) 1 year.

I can't wait until I am 18, then I can go around town whereever I want(I don't mean bars, liquor stores).

Driving would be a quicker way to get around to where I need to go, but aside from that, I don't really need to.

I am 19 but my learner's permit expired after using up the maximum allowed refills before I had a chance to take the driving test (the DMV is busy and I have always had a full schedule so there is virtually no convenient time for me that would work for the DMV). Therefore, I cannot drive until I am 21, despite my competence. Of course, I will lose my competence from lack of driving.

Edit: I still wish I knew how much I was in the wrong and how much mending would need to be done to correct it so I can know if any further mending is necessary.
