seaport placing difficulties

I want to place a small seaport. It is impossible to do so far. terraforming again and again won't help. In a city I built earier it worked suddenly,  (Once !) I don't know wh. I had to terraform a lot, I remember but it worked.

But now, I am playing on the Vulcano-map, it just will not work. Not funny. I am turning and twisting it, the error signs diiappear, but the seaport stays red. Does anybody has a tip ?

and... is there any news about trains ?  when can we add this basic need of any city ?

Is there news about other content ? (like beaches) Willi it be downloadeble ? or a game add-on in the shop for sale ?

The volcano doesn't have harbor sights.. look at the information buttons at the right of your screen.

As Damastius said, but maybe more detail: The seaports can only be placed in special areas where they are the right "fit." So they have a zone they can work in, much like when placing a water tower or oil field. Only certain maps have connections to the outside world for seaports, and only in certain areas. And as he said, the box on the right should be red when you can't place it and it give information about why.

o, thanks, I can't remember the misty areas for placing the seaport, must have seen it wrong. I do remember I had a lot of troubles placing it and a lot of terraforming around the water and then it worked on one spot in one direction. But it was another map.

but .. the trains.. eh never mind
