Album Artwork

Anyone know of a good place that has Album Artworjk for Itunes? It sucks not having the fancy Eye Candy to look at when Listening to that Banging Song

First off, do you have it set to automatically look up tags for the songs (artist, title, etc.) from a service like Gracenote?

If no, enable looking up information in the options dialog.

If yes, select your song (select multiple ones by holding down ctrl and selecting one at a time, or select more than one at a time by clicking on one song, then holding shift, then clicking on a different song away from that one). Then right click and select the "Get Album Artwork" option. The only problem with this though, is that if the song is off a compilation album, and no mention of the compilation album is named in the tags, it might run into trouble finding the artwork.

You can also add artwork manually. Find the image that you want to use as the album art. You shold be able to find it via Google, looking the album up on Wikipedia, looking on sites such as Amazon, and so forth. Now, right click on the image in your browser and select the Copy Image option. Now right-click on the song in itunes and select Get Info. Switch to the Artwork tab, click in the blank box, and press Ctrl+V to paste the artwork in that you copied. Then hit OK in the window.

Thanks alot, The Google Recommendation is the route im taking, & It really works. Also it gives me choice over my Artwork Im elated Thanks alot!!

Itunes should be able to find it automatically for you as well, so long as you have the band/album name.

Just right-click the song, Get Album Artwork.

I Dont have an ITunes Account . So Sadly Im Stuck Doing it this way. I Just completed my Conversion.

You caan set up an iTunes account without having a credit card, letting you get access to their album artwork downloading. This is a much easier option

^ But Itunes doesn't have the correct Album ARtwork for some album and for certain albums it doesn't offer any artwork at all

^ Precisely. You still have to find some yourself. I had to look for about 25 or 30 album covers after loading about 200 cds onto itunes. They will never get all of that underground stuff into the database... or will they?

I just let iTunes get it for me. But usually, when I buy the Albums and I import it, it's automatically updated. But there are times that it's not so I do the "Get Album Artwork" option in iTunes.
