still having trouble!

 I still can't get these files to work.  I have mac os x 10.4.  I downloaded some files (some are exe so i'll get to those later) and i put them in both plugins folders in the specified locations.  I tried to unzip the files but i can't figure it out.  I downloaded stuffit, but it says the files don't need to be unzipped?  im so confused!!!

also, what are some good downloads to start with?

First, the plugins only go into the Plug Ins folder in your ~/Documents folder. Second, when each zip is unziped with OS X's built-in unzipping software, it should create a folder. Copy the entire folder into ~/Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins. The only plugins you cannot use are those that end in .exe because those are Windows only installers/zips and you would need Windows to use them. It may also help if you told us what the plug ins you were having problems with are.

Actually you can use plugins that end in .exe, but you will have to extract the .dat files.  First get and install the program FileJuicer (the free trial version will be sufficient for our purposes).  Drop the .exe file onto the FileJuicer and it will create a new folder called whatever_the_exe_filename_was.juice.  In this folder you will find a folder called DAT Files (along with a bunch of stuff you won't need)  Take contents of the DAT Files folder and put that in your plugins folder.
