the mayor of Vespa City decided to build the second main park of the city. this park which is known as Brookedge Park is much smaller than Alderbush Park. there is still 5-7 more Parks that the mayor has planned to build in Vespa City

There hasn't been much development in the past 6 months in Vespa City but the town is growing at about a rate of 5% every year. there are many planned projects in Vespa City which includes many parks to built. the Mayor of Vespa City also stated that he plans to build a marina in the near future but doesn't know exactly when this will become a reality because city funds are lower than they usually are.

    thanks for the comment Twenty20

Vespa City is still growing at a very fast rate. if the town keeps expanding it could very well be a large city. in a recent interview the mayor was asked about the planned marina. the Mayor stated that the Marina was going to be built but not for a while. it would be at least one year before construction could even begin because of lack of funds. the news of the delayed Marina project upset sims because they thought it would be built right away. the Sims of Vespa City asked what the mayor had been doing with taxpayer money and he quickly responded saying the recent addition of Brookedge Park had drained city funds. the people were angry at the mayor's decision to build a park over the marina but Brookedge Park was very popular with younger sims and nobody was willing to want to destroy the park. the Mayor assured everyone that the Marina would get constructed as soon as the town had enough simoleans. the mayor was asked by a Well known Sim in town about how much simoleans it would take to build the Marina. the mayor honestly had no idea and told the sim so. The next question was about other planned city projects. the Mayor stated that he wanted to build 5 or so mor main parks in the city all around a central location but said anywhere within the city limits was acceptable. The next park was going to be about 3/4 the size of Alderbush Park and did not have a name at this current time. their was a contest in the city about the name of this park. the Sim that wins this contest will receive a week paids vacation in any city of his or her choosing across Simnation. the Final question was about taxes. the Mayor was asked if he planned to reduce taxes in the near future. the Mayor stated that at the current time he could not lower taxes but did mention that he did want to reduce taxes in the next  year or so. It was going to be a 2.5% drop in annual taxes for both Residential and Commercial.

In a unanimous decision, the people of Vespa City would call this park Moberly Park. when the Mayor was asked where he was able to get the simoleans to build this park, the mayor responded saying he took out a small loan from the local bank. he said it wasn't a lot of money though and can easily be repaid in the next few months. He also said that the amount of simoleans it would take to build a marina is too much to loan from the towns bank.

thank you everyone for your comments.

the newest development in Vespa City has occurred next to the newly completed park. a famous Sim has recently bought one of the houses in this area but doesn't want to much attention. so he bought a house that was not in the greatest condition despite just being built. the Mayor annouced at a town meeting that the Marina construction would begin in less than 6 months. the townspeople were rather happy to hear this information and couldn't wait much longer for the Marina to be built.

The City of Vespa was regarded as a great place to get away from the pressures of every day life. it was a town where you could go and relax, take a walk through the many parks or just simply as many sims would say a great place to live.

After many years of planning and construction, the marina/docks had been added to the area. the Sims of VC were excited to finally be able to spend the summer days here and the area gave many fishers well deserved jobs. it cost well over $1 million simoleans to complete the Marina but was well worth the price

with the recent completion of the marina, the demand for housing in VC has increased by over 250%. the sims want to build homes next to the water but the mayor insists on them waiting at least 6 months. the mayor does not explain why he wants it this way but the sims agree witht the mayor and decide to wait out the 6 months

sure where would you like to live in the the towns center or near the water?

The First Development has happend at the waterfront. houses here a slightly more expensive than in the towns center but still is affordable for all sims. also a new park was recently built in the city but has no name at this current time.
