I am just curious about the population of some of your cities.

You can post a picture but it´s not required..

My biggest city is Amsterdam-South with 768.246 people.
(Medium size city)

Do you think you have a bigger population???

I don't have any pictures, but my best I believe was a mere 600,000 Residential. It was a medium tile and there were even mountains on the west side, a section of a bay dominating the east side, and a commercial district. I've had entire large cities laid out, but I usually end up trashing them. I am very fussy so I usually dislike everything I do. If I wasn't so picky I could easily have millions I think.

Some people are getting over 3 million on one large tile on this site...

Mine was only a pitiful 200 000...

If you count cities that take up more than 1 tile.... than mine is planned for 20 million!

I've just gotten in the 500,000's. MooMix, that's amazing that you got more than that into what sounds like a very, very small area.

My largest city is about 1.2 million on a large city tile, called Central Park. I have no idea how though because it doesn't a lot of residential. It's 2 parts water, 2 parts industrial, 2 parts residential, and 2 parts commercial. I have practically every mod that matters, but it still doesn't seem like there are enough residential zones for this amount. It's designed in a mostly a grid pattern and looks sort of like Manhattan. The population of the region is only 1.6 million and is only half-way completed. I haven't played SC4 is several months, so I doubt I'll finish it.

My next largest city is 800,000 also on a large city tile and it's called Gridton with the same mods. It started out as an experimental city to see what I can do. If I play it though, High Wealth sims will move out and the population jumps to over 1 million, but I don't like it so I don't save it. Gridton is the only city in this region.

I made an expirement city in a mediun map arround January 2006... yes, it is very ugly and repetitive... but even so I would like to share.

i prefer quality over quantity (and realism), but these are interesting to look at none the less
