***** question regarding maps

Hi! Im pretty new at Simtropolis, and I recently started looking at custom regions...

Now whenever I want to download a region I suppose I need to press the Download button in the Region window right? When i press it, I get to a white page, but the guides saying that i should get a grayscale map :/ any help?

I have downloaded SC4M region files before... but now it doesnt work... even tho this map is made in  SC4 terraformer?

Hey, this is due to a bug that has been plaguing the Exchange for about a week. Seems like most members are experiencing either a blue or white box when trying to download. Check out this thread for solutions.

(or, check the main page, as we have a News post on this very issue)

hi spookybear,

follow these simple steps to get the greyscale map u want...

1.log into your account. (this is a kinda obvious thing u know)

2.open the pop-up window of the map u wish to download

3.Right-click on the Download link.>goto Properties.

4.u ll see the url address of that map.

(something like this   : https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/download.cfm?id=17119&download=http://www.stex-server.com/maps/koshka/koshka_mumbai/mumbai%20sc43%2Ejpg)

5. copy only the underlined portion(the link that gives the map location on the STEX SERVER) into the new browser window and hit enter,hurray u can now see the greyscale map.
