Yeah, a few months ago they announced that some construction company from Egypt was going to finish it up. I'm glad they're doing that, right now that hotel is the biggest eyesore EVER.

Anyways what I have read the company doing it is a cell phone provider, so who knows if they are just gonna clean it up then stick antennas on it...like people in NK are even allowed to have cell phones.

Actually isn't there a abandoned tower turned cell tower in Johannessburg S. Africa in the same circumstance?

OH! The facade was supposed to be made of glass , curtain wall style. That I did not know. I thought the Ryugyong Hotel would just remain as a "high-wealth commercial service building that dilapidated."
