What's it's file extension? (eg, .zip, .tar, .gz, etc)

If its a .zip, which I'm pretty sure it is, simply right click on the zip file and hit 'extract all'. Have destination set to your plugins folder.

When the files are extracted, be sure to check if they need to be installed. If the do, there will most likely be an installer in the folder you extracted. Simply double click on the installer and run through the installation process.

If its not a .zip file, then you might need a program called Winrar. I believe its free, I'm not entirely sure where to find it. If you google it you can probably find it free.

here is a good method for extracting many zip files at one time ... my apologies if this has been posted before, but i think its worthy enough to be mentioned again ... i use a lot of downloaded custom content so this is a great timesaver ... first, highlight all the zip files you want to extract at one time, using the ctrl and shift keys when needed during selection ... right-clicking on multiple zip files disables the "extract all" command from the context menu, but here is the solution ... right-click on any of the highlighted files and move your cursor slightly to the right or left to make the "extract all" choice appear ... if you have done it correctly you will see multiple extraction wizard windows pop up, ready to extract all the zips you marked ... it may take a few times to get the right-click-shifting move to work, but its worth the effort ... you can speed things up more by pressing the "h" key once you have extracted each individual zip when the "show extracted files" portion of the wizard appears ... you will be ready to proceed to the next zip without having to ex out of each regular folder during your mass unpacking process ... after it is done you will find all your original zips still marked, ready for any further action on them such as moving to an archive folder, deleting, etc
