PSP Banner by: Brandon Miller

Welcome to the historan ridge journal! This city was built on disasters and unusual terrain. Here you can

see the growth of this city as it happens. If you have any suggestions feel free to share. Be gentle though, I

have been trying to master the design flow and budget balance technique for some time now. I have been

using SC 3000 but then lost it. Finally got SC 4 and now I am trying to get the city managment down.

Chapter 1: No Civilization

ScreenShot 1, Before civilization

Historan Ridge, before any sign of civilazation had been established. Complete with a crator, a volcano, and what was once a mesa is now broken down, sharp, eroded, and filled with water. Also Includes trees around the base of the lake filled with wild herds and flocks.

I was going for a unique terrain and I got it. If you want to achieve a sharp mountain formation

like this, just create a mesa and use the terrain lowering tool. It should do an uneven job therefor

createing these steep sharp hills which can then be filled with water by lowering the terrain at the

edge and angle preffered.

Chapter 2: Civilization Arrives

Chapter 2: Civilazation Arrives, Towns kick in

Power and Water fill the lines and pipes. New sims move to Historan Ridge to find new jobs.

Civilization finally makes its appearance. With the economy on the rise, the buildings can barely keep up with the growing amount of tourists visiting Historan Ridge. This busy-bee city has no idea of the past disasters that struck this land just 7 years earlier. Pop: 1858 Funds: $350,564 Date: 6/3/07

7 Years ago or so: Volcanos make their mark, meteors rage through the atmosphere, thunder strikes the ground.

These disasters shaped the history as well as the terrain of Historan Ridge.

I was just getting to that part. I have them and their descriptions ready.

I didn't put them in the original post because I was going to make the chapters in a reply.

Is there a way to put a reply next to my post?

Or will I need to divide them?

uhhh...reply next to the post? well just put the replies before or after the next update. maybe you should look at some of the older cj's that are around, those with lots of replies. that could help you out. oh! and interesting mountains! i like how it is sharp peaks, and then a lake. i cant wait to see how you develop the area!
