Is anyone else looking forward to this game? I know its nothing like the conventional Sims games, but I think it has a lot of interesting features, and it seems to appeal to the Simcity sandboxing crowd. I like to think of the building design as BAT-lite.

If you haven't seen the game, you should check out the official website http://mysims.ea.com and look at the screenshots and trailer. Also, take a walk on over to google videos and do a search there - they have some nice gameplay vids.

Yes, I look forward to play this game on the Wii. I just bought a Wii. It's really cool. Have you seen my MySims movie on Youtube? I visited the official sneakpreview of MySims in Holland 2 months ago.

Wow, I actually hadn't seen that video. I've seen most of the others.

I've heard a lot of people say "I don't think I'd like that game - it looks too childish" but it doesn't look any worse than Animal Crossing, and I know plenty of adults that are into that game.

Well, maybe some people think its childish, but I can tell you that it isn't childish. I like it. When you play this game, you wont think about childish anymore.

Could you elaborate? Why do you think its evil? Weird I could understand, but not evil.

I especially find this part on the site exciting:

Build and customize an entire town -

Your town is your own unique creation, from the design of the flower shop to the layout of a Mad Scientist's laboratory, and beyond.quote>

I was kind of hoping SC5 was going to be like this - customize everything from the ground up, make it completely your own (pick home colors, plant flora & props, etc...).
