Bus transit line..

I would like to know how to make a working transit line for the buses..?

Doesnt matter what I place and how I place it, I always get the advice that a particular bus stop is ineffective..

The reason your stops are ineffective might be bacause you are placing them in low density areas were there is few people to use them. First off you want to get the nam if you don't have it, thats a must for transportation. I would advise using another form of transportation along with buses e.x. monoral, el. rail, subway. Then place bus stops near those stations. Try to put lots of bus stops in high- medium density neighbourhoods. Remember that sims aren't willing to travel too far to get to bus stop. Also make sure you have bus stops in residental, commercial, and industrial zones.

So they dont have to be in a special line or anything? or turned (N,S,W,E) in a special direction?
