I made that the other night expierimenting with roundabouts. I have yet to try it with one way streets. What do you think? Its a bit small but thats okay. I wish there were no stoplights to make it more realistic.

Looks cool, but I think there are some people working on one that is a real circle/roundabout,that should be coming out soon. Did you make it by connecting the 4 roads on a diagonal?

I made an intersection and connected each road by the side. So yeah I did do it diagonaly. I hope the roundabout mod comes out soon. I really like them 44.gif44.gif

If you make them with one-ways, you don't get the stoplights, but you do get crosswalks. If you make a one-way come off at a diagonal, you eliminate the crosswalks as well, and traffic on the straight road has priority over traffic on the diagonal. A really nice way to make merging-type intersections that you would have at a roundabout, where the circle has right of way.

Oroen said it all... One ways make a roundabout realistic... i figured this out by playing with avenues and little streets... I realised the avenue has priority and the little streets join with the traffic - helped me to create proper dual carriageways & bigger capacity avenues.

How do the one-way roundabouts work regarding the gameplay? I mean, do they work properly or do your sims get confused if they are to drive out through the last exit, which instead will end up with them driving a whole other way?

they work perfectly fine - just that you get different routes to work and from work (because of the 1 way)
(ps - i know this is my 1st post but ive been reading these forums for about a year now)

    Welcome ot Simtropolis, Bedlam!

Well, what I just found out is that, there is a modd that can make more realistic roundabouts. It's called Network Addon Modd.

You can download it here .
