Contouring your City or Landscape

I learnt that it is possible to contour your City or Landscape.

When I first started playing Simcity I found that I rather didn't like how the terrain could become very jaggered and after laying a couple of roads the edge of the tiles could protrude up looking jaggered and not to reallife.

So I learnt to use a combination of Items in the "Tools Menu" to smooth out thoughs jaggered edges.

You can contour your roads, rail and lots or create gentle curves going up or down hills. You can create different level plateaus or contour under groundlevel.

You can do this before building lots in your Towns or during the gameplay.

You don't need to add anything it can all be done will the original game tools.

As I have not seen this mentioned anywhere yet (although I'm sure that I'm not the only one to have figured this out) anyway if anyone is interested in how this is done then please let me know and I am only too willing to share.

    Cheers Wil

You seem hot on this, and technically interested.  Perhaps you could do a tutorial or an Omnibus article describing it.  Contact hym if you want to volunteer this.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Yes I would be interested in doing what you suggested however even thought I've been a member for quite awhile I have rarely visited forms etc and am not familiar with procedures.

If some one could help that would be great.

The info would be rather lengthy plus requires many photos of different procedures that can be achieved.

Also I have tried to up load pictures but with no success.

    Cheers Wil
