The Rebuilding of a City

Lexicon was not doing well in my region… Many people did not have jobs and the city layout was confusing…well, all my city layouts are confusing, but this city was more confusing than normal lol. So I destroyed everything and started over. The first thing I did after everything was gone was to widen Snake River and lay out some new avenues and roads….as seen here

Then I set up the power source…In this pic you can see the slums or sth lol with the ugly run down buildings. The windmill farm is atop a hill overlooking the river…

So I tried to make my windmills more realistic this time, putting them outside the city instead of in the middle of it lol.

Then I began a little downtown area…. Here it is, pretty much completed

You can also see the little park. I think parks look nice in downtown areas…Here is an aerial view

I think this church is very beautiful and you can see some Sims coming out of it

 I rather like how this downtown turned out, I hope you enjoyed it as well.

Now I’m working on the suburbs. I love zoning like this lol, with 1x1 low dens residential along a road that spirals inward (I hope that makes sense) and it makes that cool looking neighborhood. Ok, in my opinion it’s cool looking Here you can see it next to the park

Next I will work on the suburbs surrounding the river and the downtown area.

The houses by the pond look amazing and the trees fit in really well...The whole area looks as always very peaceful...

A splendid bunch of downtown pictures...very excellent...they look great with the bridges and the rivers!

Well done, Twiggy! I see the redevelopment was a great success! The downtown looks excellent, and the park looks very cool with the lake. I also like the coastlines of Snake River; as they are very realistic and the hill with the windmills is a nice touch. Keep up this great work!

Hi guys!  Sorry it took so long to reply to comments... Ive been a bit busy this past week.  but i did a bit of photoshopping for tierra.... Yes, a scary thought...  I redid the banner, like the one above this text^^ (though I'm not entirely pleased with it lol) yes its pink... that is my favorite color lol. 

and I added a Table of Contents, as well as the residents of Tierra de la Oscuridad.  If I spelled a screenname wrong or forgot someone, please let me know!! lol.  Here they are (so you dont have to load the first page lol, half the pics are missing ... lol i might try to fix it... within the next decade or so) These were the people who bought houses in Tierra a while back.  Enjoy!

Wow these updates have been excellent!! I like that little community by the park, it looks nice and quaint. I also like that road that winds through it along the pond, that's a nice touch. Nice waterfalls too, very scenic! Great work!
