Santa Marta is a city and municipality, located in northwestern Colombia and the by the Caribbean seaSierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains, capital of the Magdalena Department. Founded on July 29, 1525 by Spanish conqueror Rodrigo de Bastidas, the city is an important maritime port and hub for tourism, history and culture. It was named after the Biblical Martha and was the first city to be founded in Colombia and second in South America after Cumaná (1521) in Venezuela. El Libertador

AAAAHHHH América latina...

In 1999 I went two months to Ecuador and Venezuela. I played of the basse guitar in a  rock'n'roll

band and whe made some concerts in Quito, Guayaquil and Caracas.

I will never forget these two incredible months.

Perhaps a day I will go back there, before being 80 years old...

I now want to visit Colombia my friend...

...Oh and Santa Marta look idyllic!!!

It's a very small town but very beutiful, is on a mountain and surrounded by many hills, is like the 8th most important city in Colombia and is the capital of the Caldas department, is part of the coffe axis. 



















Manizales is a very organized city as you can see...







This one is one of the most popular mall of the city "centro comercial Parque Caldas"
