I can't take it anymore!! I came the idea placing factories in another city I have 60,000 sims. Well... Here is the trouble. I have maybe two water pumps and zoning the areas... Everything went good until I have this green water problem! 15.gif All the water pumps shut down out of no where after placing more than four! 15.gif I tried the water treatment plant but didn't work!!! *cries*

Can someone help me please! 15.gif

Does not matter.  What matters is that the water pumps are inside the polluted area from the industry.  Best bet is to put the pumps in another city that is not polluted, and use neighbour deals to get the water to the industries.

Yes keep your pumps well away from any water pollution (check the pollution maps). I like to have all my water pumps in my neighbouring cities with only Residential and Commercial. Then the industrial cities buy their water from the residential cities. To balance the deal I put my power stations in the industrial cities and sell the power to the residential cities (that keeps air pollution out of the residential cities too).

Far interesting sam.  You said you have residentals in one city and the commercial in another? Kind of odd..

Residential and Commercial I usually put together in the same city, because they are both "clean". Sometimes I put commercial in a different city because it may need extra space, or I put it on the other side of the water with ferry connections (they don't overload like roads do). I-HT can go in the same city as residential or commercial as well if necessary, as they like similar conditions to commercial and don't produce much pollution.

The best place for commercial is on the main traffic route between the Industrial and Residential zones. That way it has lots of traffic to keep the customer numbers high.

But I always keep the polluters out of the cities that don't like pollution. This includes power and garbage, which I put in with the dirty industry.
