All Airports and Seaports Not Upgrading

HI,

I recently upgraded some of my airports and seaports and now upon reaching max capacity for both the small runway, national and international airports no upgrade box appear. they just go grey with no change. ive deleted the mods to no effect. is this a known issue. i've searched the forums and need some tech help. the game runs perfectly (new computer running xp) but the airport thing is really bugging me.

just some more info as well... the airports go to about 3/4 of the total capacity. even though i have more than enough commercial population for the large international airport i can;t even get the tiny runway to upgrade. i even tested on a brand new city to no avail. any help really appreciated. plus i have to mention this site gets a an a+++ i will be donating very shortly - its amazing the amount of stuff here - really makes sc4 sooo much more exciting!

and for your problem: i never had to upgrade my airports,so i dont know if i have the prob.

you can download swampers airport support pack, it may solve your problem

and for the seaports, the default one never uprgades, it is just one seaport, however, there are upgradeable seaports on the stex, which needs swampers seaport support pack.

tnx for the quick answer. I downloaded the upgreadable seport but withouth the suport pack. ill try it now

if you are using the default maxis airports then you have to wait until an advisor posts the message in the news box.  they don't upgrade automatically.  its something like "airport expansion bid hits airwaves" then you have to open the message and hit accept.

edit: as previously stated, the default seaports never upgrade.

the support pack is a dependency, it wont work without, it will crash to desktop
