Light of the donwloads/plugins aren't working..

hey, I have now a lot of city's whit i think more than a thousand plugins in it, but from the beginning all the lights of the plugins don't work,..

what's the problem? and how can i fix it?

You will need an update from this page here on the Official SC4 website. You will need to Product Register your game and Log-In and at the bottom of the page there should be a section called "How to get the most out of your B.A.T. experience" and there should be an update. Download that update and the nightlights should work. Hope this helps.

also note that nocd patches seem to kill night lights for custom bats.

oke that sucks, because my simcity works on a noCD patch :S is there another option? becausethe download from the official simcity site doesn't change a thing...

No, Maxis purposefully done that to stop people from using No-CD patches so if you want the lights to work, you'll have to lose the No-CD patch, sorry about that.

Actually, you don't need a cracked no-cd patch to run the game solely from hard disk. I don't use my CD anymore, and I'm running all the latest patches (including the BAT patch).

What I'm doing is NOT illegal and it does not involve any modification to SC4 files. However, some might think of it as getting around copy-protection (and it does get around it), and I think discussing how to do that isn't permitted on this site. So, I can't tell you how to do it, but with a bit of searching, you should be able to find out.

It's legal, and it lets you get rid of needing the CD in the drive. Hint: find out about virtual CD drives.

yes I already did it with virtual CD, i don't have a no-cd crack now anymore, but i updated the game again, but ligths still aren't working wtf, well atleast thanks for your help!

Are you sure you downloaded and installed the BAT patch? Do a "Properties" on your Simcity4.exe file, and check the version. It should be 1.1.640.0. If it isn't, then you haven't installed the BAT patch.

huh ?! it is 1.1.610.0 so that means i haven't installed it? but I'm sure i did, it installs automaticcaly, and than it sais that it has been installed...

Make sure to download the patch for Deluxe/RH first (that upgrades to 1.1.638.0 I think), then install the BAT patch which upgrades to 1.1.640.0. You have to apply both patches, in order.
