Hartwell Tavern is a historic building located in the town of Lincoln, MA. Built from 1732 to 1733, the tavern housed Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell as well as their 9 children, and was also used as an inn. Legend has it that the Hartwells were involved in transmitting Paul Revere's message of British attack to the town of Lincoln. Today, 60-70% of the original structure remains, with the rest being replaced by restoration projects.
