So I'm not good with words, but I think my city might turn out ok. First, I streamed the making of, so I will post a link to that if you want to watch.

So with that out of the way, here I go.
Delta Junction. I'm using the Helena Coast map (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=433724273&searchtext=helena).
I should note here, that I did modify the map though. I moved the start point, and put in a connection to that start point. I wanted to start where I was going to have industry, and the original start point I did not want industry there at all.
So first, lets look at a overview of the map.
Do note, this was before I moved he start point, so the highway is slightly off, but I did not modify any terrain. Just the start point, and made sure it had a connection to the outside world.
And the resources
And the wind
So I moved in, and I wanted to make a real looking city. Yes grids happen, but I wanted to conform to the terrain when needed. The starting area allowed for that nicely. My first houses.
I tried to follow the coast line with the roads, and think it turned out nicely. This is my wind mill hill. I kept adding to it, as you will see in later pictures. It reminds me of what you see in Western Washington.
After the city had grown some, I was looking around the city. I realized just how big that water pump was up on the hill. Wow.
And wind mill hill from a top a local factory. There are more than two now, but this was early on you see.
Now my engineers swear they put the pipes underground, but I question that. I can't prove them wrong though. Anytime I walk to were my data sheet says, I don't see them. However, I swear my data sheet says they are floating in air.
We also had an issue with boats that defied gravity too, my cousin vinnie wanted a picture to show off when he visited.
So, as our city expanded, we needed a new cemetery and medical clinic. It cost a little money, but we cut away a mountain and put it down by the boat launch.
I realized I didn't do good on showing the town, I hope to get better screen shots for next update. I realize not everyone wants to watch 3 hours of video.
