About this City Journal
After my clean reinstall and hardware replacements i've decided to try a different approach to SC4. My city will be focused on design instead of functionality, so many districts will be eye candy only because i'll use the building plop cheat.
As you can see above the city will ocupy the center of the map. We'll have a small airport and also a small seaport and a very small army base.
Some infrastructure pics :

@kschmidt - thank you :), this is not a recreation of the original route 66, it's a fictional one, even ttho you have some motels, gas stations, and in the future some small villages along it
@Korver - thank you, we are almost done
@korver - thank you
@korver -thank you
@kelistmac - thank you, the map is custom made by hand
sorry for the graphic issues
After some experiments with mmp and overhanging stuff and plopping residentials (and yes they don't get delapidated , but there's a trick to it) i've decided to finaly start my video CJ, and i'll try to upload stuff every day if possible.
@namiko - thank you, it will be rebuild even more good looking
@kelistmac - thank you
And here it is : Episode 1 :cheers:
My interpretation of the famous wigwam motel
@DaviDHetzel - i don't find it that unusual, in my country there lots of malls w2w to functional/abandoned industrial buildings, als in my home town there is a big suburban type shopping mall surrounded by sunflower fields.
As regarding the mmps and the roundabout filler i have no idea my plugins folder it's almost 10 GB
Pine Valley is a small suburb - ~8.000 pop developed arround Pine Valley Mall and some farm plots
@MissVanleider - thank you
Along this stretch of my fictional Route 66 i've remade the first rest stop, build a second one and add some lodging industry.
I've added a Zeppelin as a museum at the airport
And i've finished Sugar Hill 'hood
I've done some work with and arround the main rail station.
Here's an update regarding Packard International Airport. It's a small airport and due to the small space i had to squeeze it in so it's not the best looking one out there...
Biarritz it's the old district with art deco buildings, vintage skyscrapers, a huge (sunken) central park. Because i want it to be different and nice, with no repetitivity it will b eye candy only. Also on the other shore is the small airport.
In this first episode a big round of applause goes to @Aaron Graham and his amazing creations!!!!
I have to say that i'm not that satified with the light and the sidewalk. Should i change 'em?
