Building on a region on the Youtubes!
We finally set off to build a airport for the region, but first we need to upgrade roads and rails around it so they can handle the extra traffic... Airport aficionados of ST, please let me know if I'm screwing things up, because I know next to nothing about RL airport/runway design
Youtube is currently having some issues starting video's for some people (including myself) so if that happens to you, check back later
First SC4 episode since I upgraded to Windows 8 so we fix up some stuff and continue working on Salsey/the Army Base
Episode 23 is a special one, I recorded it with the microphone muted accidentally.. Since it is a pretty cool episode nonetheless, with me building a army base in the Reading region, I decided to speed up the footage and put some relaxing music behind it. Hope you'll enjoy!
In episode 22, we start building a new small town, a few tiles away from Reading.
In Episode 20, we continue working on the the regional highway system, expanding the highway through Reading that was built during Ep 19, into Addington, the town formerly known as City 4.
A teaser picture today, as I did quite some off-camera work and didn't want you guys to feel left out
We start building the first highway in the region, a tough job that comes with some failure and frustration, of course.
In Episode 18, we do a few random fixes and changes around Reading, and build a fairly large regional hospital complex
In Episode 17, I start upgrading some of the low-density suburbs in Reading into medium density, and upgrade the shores around it with some seawalls while experimenting with the Diagonal Bridge Enabler.
Episode 16 of my SC4 Let's Play. We take a look around and do a few small tweaks here and there while looking at some off-camera progress as well.
Episode 15 of my SimCity 4 Let's play. We build some new public transportation and start a new city tile.
Episode 14 of my SC4 LP. We visit some things I built while recording the never-released Episode 13 (because of uploading, rendering etc. issues) and revisit some of the transportation system in the main city.
We start working on Hartford, a new quad in the London region
In this episode I try to build a railway interchange in the new city tile.. and fail multiple times
Building some avenues, having mouse troubles, founding a new city and talking about the dangers of upgrading roads in real life. All that in one episode.
This one took me ages to get uploaded, had a lot of issues both on the editing and on the uploading side of things. Hopefully you'll enjoy nonetheless!
In this episode I show off all the changes I did off-camera in the region, work on a light rail system to expand the public transport and talk about the future of the SimCity franchise.
Today we upgrade a TLA-2 into a MAVE-6, but experience some brown box troubles afterwards..
In the sixth episode of my SC4 Let's Play, we upgrade some roads with traffic problems to avenues, and use some TuLEPs for them.
Sound is a little off for some reason, will have to readjust it. Sorry!
Fifth episode of my SC4 Let's play. Today, we work on a few random things around the city, balance the city budget and replace some farms with residentials
