All ministries of the PCP (People's Communistic Party) are located on Lingzhou Mung. The largest buildings are of the ministery of Justice and the ministery of Propaganda. The Jing Mufeng Square is located in front of the ministry of Justice. The square is built to honour the Great Leader Jing Mufeng.

Nuclear Testingsite Shingjing 1958

On 7 july 1958 the nuclear testingsite of Shingjing opened. It was the first nuclear testingside in the People's Republic of Sinjin. Because of the nuclear warfare that started between the Sovjet-Union and the US, Sinjin decided to start with nuclear warfare too. The first nuclear bomb, the SGX-120, was completed in 1962, 4 years after the opening of the nuclear testingsite. The bomb was located at the testingside of Shingjing, and would be used to defend the city. Other bombs that came later would be used as defending or offensive bombs. In the 1960 and 1970 a lot of other testingsites were opened too and the nuclear weapon arsenal of Sinjin grew fastly.

Shingjing - 1950-1960 - the State Housing project

On 9 january 1950 the People's Republic of Sinjin was found by Jing Mufeng. It was a relieve for the most inhabitants of the country, because it meant that there would come peace and rest. The Communistic Party garanteed work to all people. But there was no work on the countryside, which meant that a lot of people were forced to move to the city. Shingjing was the city which grew the fastest. Industry came to the city and the city garanteed the people a home. That's why they started the State Housing project. Many flats were built and the number of citizens grew rapidly.

The quarters which were built by the State Housing project were Xiabouneng in the south of the city (next to the People's Square) and the largest quarter Mujung Yuxeng in the north (next to the Square of the Peaceful Earth)

The capital

Shingjing is the capital of the People's Republic of Sinjin. It's the political centre of the Communistic Party (PCP). The city has some interesting monuments, from the time Sinjin was an empire. The Palace of the Peaceful Earth is an example of one of those monuments. Nowadays, the city is famous as the centre of the communistic government of the state. The city has a lot of government buildings, like the ministry of propaganda or the ministry of Justice. All the government buildings are located on one road, the most important one of the city, the Lingzhou Mung.

Palace and Square of the Peaceful Earth

The Palace and Square of the Peaceful Earth (Sufueng and Tingjian lan Mangzho Nujung) are located in the centre of the city. It's one of the most important squares in the city. Everyday there is a flagraising ceremony at the square and the national anthem (the Song of the Workers) plays at dawn. In the middle of the square is a statue of Qung Jiung, the most important emperor of the Sinjin Empire. The Palace of the Peaceful Earth is constructed in 1632 and has been the emperor's residence till the end of the empire. In its time as a residence it was forbidden for the normal people to enter the palace. After the founding of the People's Republic, which happened on a balcony of the palace, one of the first things that happened was the opening of the palace to all people, to show the beginning of a new age and to show that the empire was ended. In the top of the picture the Museum of the Party is visible. The museum shows the history of the state and the Party and all the glorious victory that were achieved by the Party.

Guangzhou Mung and the Temple of the Beautiful Heaven

Guangzhou Mung is the only road in the city with the traditional Sinjinese buildings. It's a road that leads to the most important road of the city: Lingzhou Mung. The Temple of the Beautiful Heaven (Shinfumuengzhi Mangzhi Ahnmunfuchen) is located at the end of Guangzhou Mung. The temple is the oldest in the city and very important in Sinjin history. It was the most important temple for the emperors and they usually prayed in the temple for victories of their armies. Nowadays it's possible to visit the temple and it's one of the only temples in the country where it's legal to do religious activities. On the last picture, you can see a tower behind the temple (the Tower of Wisdom). It was used as a defence tower and to come closer to the heaven.

Square of the People

The Square of the People is a square which was constructed at the founding of the state, for the people. Some of the most important meeting places are located on the square, like the Worker's Stadium and the Promenade of the Victories. One billboard is very important for the square, the one with the state channel on it. All day long people can watch it. The 2 statues next to the billboard show the modernization and high-tech possibilities of the People's Republic of Sinjin. The statue in the middle of the square is a statue of Jung Mufeng, the great leader of the country. The flag raising ceremony is held on the square everyday, like on the Square of the Peaceful Earth. Inside the Worker's Stadium there are held a lot of meetings, with for example movies about the country and its enemies, but speeches of high members of the PCP are usual too.

As you can see, I made the city on Simcity Societies, I hope you enjoyed it and I appreciate comments! Thank you!
