About this City Journal

A growing city on the side of the River Trunnska. A city depicted primarily in videos.

This time the tour will go up 2nd Street, which runs parallel to the road depicted in the last entry. This time we will start at the same intersection the last one ended at, and will head in the opposite direction, ending up one street over (hence why it's "2nd Street). I chose this one in particular because it's very interesting how it unfolds:

It was one of the origional streets (hence why it's right next to city hall), and starts out just an undivided side street, but as the city expanded, it grew to add more lanes, turning into a 2 lane divided street, and then a 4 lane avenue. This video takes you in reverse of that, starting at the newest portion and traveling into older and older sections.

Sorry about the quality, if it was any higher the framerate would drop to levels more akin to the first 5 seconds for the entire video.

Shaddy: Thanks! I appreciate it considering how ling it takes to build in Cities XL o.O

supercity124: Being the mayor of this city, I am over such trivial things as "traffic laws." Thanks!

thvidal: Thanks! However, I'm afraid I can't understand the second part of your comment. You know more English than I do of any other language, I'll give you that though! =)

Hello and welcome to my latest virtual escapade. I recently bought Cities XL and have been playing through. Here is the result. The video's journey travels from the far left of the title block (near the bridge) to just off the right side. I stop at the road leading up to the foreground at around 2:10. Enjoy:

Stay tuned for further updates, including tours of other streets, the highways, and still shots!
