La Valle
Population: 367
La Valle is a village in Sauk County.
Trivia:
A post office called La Valle has been in operation since 1856.
Lake Mills
Population: 5708
Lake Mills is a city in Jefferson County.
Trivia:
In 1866 the village changed its name to "Tyranena", but changed it back again to "Lake Mills" the next year.
Lancaster
Population: 3868
Lancaster is a city in and the county seat of Grant County.
Trivia:
Lancaster calls itself "The City of the Dome" after the octagonal glass and copper-clad dome of its courthouse, which was designed by Armand Koch and built in 1905. In the spandrels of the courthouse dome are four allegorical murals painted by Franz Edward Rohrbeck.
Livingston
Population: 664
Livingston is a village in Grant and Iowa Counties.
Trivia:
A meteorite fell to the Earth near and in the village on April 14, 2010, following a spectacular bolide and aerial explosion seen over much of the midwestern United States.
Lodi
Population: 3050
Lodi is a city in Columbia County.
Trivia:
A portion of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail runs through Lodi.
