A Scrapbook Entry No2

I'm still experimenting in Cities:Skylines and expanding my asset and mod library, so it might be a couple more weeks before I upload a full city profile, but I didn't want to leave you without anything this week, so I decided to do another "Scrapbook Entry".

I created a new city this week, and focused on the skyline and downtown area. It currently has a population of around 66,000 and I'm planing extensive growth.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

At the heart of the city is a vast station.

I've put a huge emphasis on improving the skyline in this city, so here it is, from several angles.

And some finally shots of the city.

Hope you enjoyed this week's entry.

If you have any suggestions, or constructive criticism, comment below.

Just to let you know, there will be no entry next week, as I'm in Germany on a school trip, so I'll hopefully update again on the 29th of May; enjoy the next two weeks!

Thanks for reading!

Why thank you Kim Sunwoo! I might enter that image in the best pic competion and see how it fairs. :)

Thanks for the comment PhatHead. I think you'll like what will come in a couple of weeks.

Thanks john316316. Paint is a bitmap editing program, ie, it uses pixels. What you need is a vector drawing program. I used a free one called Inkscape (https://www.paradoxp...cities-skylines), but I have a 2.5GHz Intel i5 and it runs fine.

That staition has a lot of tracks! I like the Reichstag and how you used it. I also like your skyline with the CN Tower in its full glory. I believe it's taller in real life compared to the Shanghai World Financial Center, though.

Thanks for the comment Ultimate. I wasn't necessarily going for realism, hence me not using 1:1 scale buildings; I used what looked good!
