Megalopolis 001

After a long time without playing I re-started giving some plays to SC4 and after installing a lot of CAMeLots (and a couple of days downloading dependencies o.O ) I begin a new city, born to be wild big! The result? Well, here are the city's numbers:

It look a pretty big, and it requires tons of water, garbage and reciclying sistems and energy generation. Just 20 incinerators, 24 big reciclying centers, 6 hydrogen plants and 15 big water bombs... something like this, a big region dedicated to manage the city requirements:

But no more numbers, here is the "rich" arean in this huge city and different version of night/day (I couldn't decide which one would be better, what do you think?)

A couple of big stadiums to enjoy the masses

But what about the traffic? A city of this size must be stoped by the traffic? As you can see here the traffic usage:

The public transport is very used and the city construction helps to it, the central commercial/residential area is divided in sections of [Avenue - 4 contructions oc 5x5 separated by streets - Avenue], the residents can use cars without giving very serious trobles, but to help in the city are a lot of bus stations, a decent subway and a huge tram development. Only that? No, in the city I created an intra-urban highway system, but how do it and avoid the space requirements and the traffic noise? Just creating an underground highway system under the entire city conectig the main areas:

The result, a huge city with only two neighbours (a satellite city and a "garbage city") and skycrapers everywhere.

That's all! I hope you liked it.

Looks beastly. I could never bring myself to used those coruscant towers. The name Megalopolis always reminds me of a level in Extreme-G III called Megalopis 7. What are those cube things in your first picture that say inter... culture? Do you have any Cerulean buildings in there? If not you should get some from the BSC Lot Exchange. I only have one because most of them are CAM, i'm not using that right now, but they would go great in your city.

About the Cerulean I'm not sure.... I donwloaded too many lots, biuldings, props, etc. to have a nice variety of buildings in my city that I can't remember but I think I have some ^^
