November 21st,1879

The Second British Empire had sent his men to colonize a new part of the world, located North-West of America .The men was led by my great ancestor, Sir Edward Harold,a former general of The British Navy. They set sail that beautiful morning with enough supplies for a whole year.

September 25th,1880

Sir Edward Harold and his men arrived at the unnamed land, only known as 'Donec Elementum Magna Terra' which is Latin for 'Where Lightning Touch The Earth'. The map for bay where they had landed was recorded earlier by British traders that passed nearby a year earlier before the trip. They set foot on the untouched land and claimed it in the name of the Empire. They explored a little deeper using a river, because the sea levels would rise and destroy the colony if it was built near the sea. They found a small

lagoon, perfect for a colony. The colony was named The British Colony Of Alexandria, after the great Egyptian city of the same name.

January 13th, 1881

The colony has set up most of the important supplies and have already started making farms. More building supplies, workers and some daring and adventurous Britishers came in steamships from England to stay in Alexandria. Dirt roads were also replaced with asphalt roads. Sir Edward Harold, who before was staying in simple tents is now permanently staying in The Resident's Manor and ranked Resident of Alexandria(Resident is a rank in The British Empire as the leader of a colony).

The small colony town of Alexandria is growing at a slow pace, enough for it to fully mature."A boy may grows into an adult in a few days, but it takes time for it to mature into a man". That was the words of Sir Edward Harold.Though the town grows slowly, it needs also grows with it. The town has a dozen private homes and farmlands, and so the need for electricity is high. A report was made by the Resident to the Colonization Office in downtown London,to ask for supplies to build Alexandria's first Coal Plant to power the needs of the growing colony. The plant was built by Smith And Wessons Electric.

Alexandria has grown to become one of The British Empire's top grapes and apples producer. The town has expanded its farmlands and are supporting more and more residences in the town. And so, a second Coal Plant is built in the North-Eastern parts of the colony. The plant was a success and provided work for many new Britishers who came to Alexandria. The town is a growing farmland and new challenges awaits Alexandria.

The town is on a revenue streak. The town has grown rapidly for the past few years. More farmlands were made. To support Alexandria's growing needs of iron and other building supplies, several smelting factories were made by to support the demands. One of them being The Pettigrew Smelting Company. On the same day, the Queen Of England, Queen Victoria came to Alexandria to see the rapid progress of this colony. She was escorted by 180 Redcoats and 20 Naval High Officers during her visit. After the visit, The Resident made several reports to The Colonization Office in London to build a waterhouse for the growing needs of the citizens since. The Office accepted to built a waterhouse in the town but only enough serve the main town, not the farmlands and industrial areas.

More To Come (This Entry Will Be Updated Until 1890)

"They are abandoning us. The British Empire is too large to be maintain. We are the product of their negligence and before this colony fall, we have to act."

Interesting beginning. If you want to build cities of 19th century, you'll need to download 19th century buildings as well ;)
