  • Hi everyone, when im trying to place a wall near the entrance to the tunnel (from MODERN CONCRETE DIAGONAL WALLS mod) its arrow points to the road. What i need is to turn it, because thats wrond direction, but after i turn it with 'home' key, second later it turns automatically to the road again. Is there any way to turn off this "point to road" thingy?? thx.

Do not move your mouse after pressing the 'home' key. It's kind of boring because it's hard to click without moving the mouse. I'm always trying and bulldozing until I get the proper orientation.

all the hot key commands are listed in the maual...4.gif

few other commands you will want to know :

(Shift)+zoning = no auto streets (should glue this one down)
(Alt)+ zoning = turn zone arrows
(Control)+ zoning = makes zoned area 1 zone

these three can be used sperately or in conbinations  (Y)

hovering with any plopableable building or lot:

    "Home" turns it clockwise
    "End" turns it counter clockwise

theres quite a few keyboard command in the game, special if you use the UDI

What I do when I'm having a problem like this is to bulldoze the offending road sections to make it easier to place my zones or items. My main problem is when I want my residential or commercial to face a lower capacity road when there is an adjacent higher capacity route.
