I think invisible roads together with ploppable asphalt, timed traffic lights, possibly curbs and lines for detail work and a lot of tinkering would do the trick. The simple way is to use BadPeanut's arterial roads, though you woulnd't be able to get the exact amount of lanes you want.

I've seen some cities with turn lanes, just like TULEPs from NAM. I'm not sure if there's a mod for this. If so, which one is it?
I figure this would require a transition from a regular street to an asymmetrical one, but as far as I know, all transitions are either abrupt (2 lane road to 3 lane road) or they look like intersections (2 lane road to 4 lane avenue).
All in all, how to do this?

IF YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THIS FILE I SUGGEST REDOWNLOADING IT
      First upload.
The map is meant to have a collection of major cities built upon it.
Inspired by various locations in the US such as Hawaii, California, Texas, and Oklahoma (best state).

I admit that this region isn't the best it could be, I got sick in the middle of doing it. Some areas are of questionable quality but overall its decent (I guess).
      CONTENTS
1 very wonky United States complete with nice spots to recreate major cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and of course, Tulsa.
      SUGGESTIONS
Use SC4 Mapper or something similar to use this SC4M file.
      Recreate Tulsa
      Do it
